Privacy Policy
Effective October 27, 2026
Memberry is operated by Maverick Marketer LLC, based in Southington, Connecticut, United States (“Memberry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). During initial early access, Memberry is offered to adults 18 or older located in the United States. This policy explains how we handle information when you use memberry.co and its study features. Privacy requests: privacy@memberry.co. Support: support@memberry.co.
1. Information we collect
Account information. Your email address, name if provided, sign-in records, and account preferences. Password authentication is handled through our authentication provider; passwords are stored in hashed form rather than as readable passwords.
Learning material and activity. Source links, files you upload, pasted text, extracted transcripts and document text, generated summaries, questions, flashcards, workbooks, workbook responses, notes, categories, tags, review history, and learning progress. We also store Ask Memberry conversations and AI replies.
Preferences and communications. Your interests, theme and reminder preferences, timezone, feedback, and communications with us. When you create an account we also record which version of our Terms and Privacy Policy you accepted, when, and that you confirmed you are at least 18 and located in the United States. We do not collect identity documents to verify this.
Technical information. Hosting and service providers may process IP addresses, browser/device information, request timestamps, usage metadata, and diagnostic or security logs when delivering and protecting the service. AI gateway logs may include request and response content.
2. How we use information
We process information to:
- Create and secure accounts.
- Import, organize, and display learning material.
- Generate study packs and provide source-grounded AI assistance.
- Schedule reviews and display learning progress.
- Send study reminders you enable, authentication messages, and necessary service notices.
- Respond to support, feedback, deletion, and privacy requests.
- Diagnose errors, prevent misuse, and maintain the application.
We receive administrative email alerts about new signups and submitted feedback. Those alerts may contain account identifiers and the feedback you submit.
We do not sell personal information. We do not currently run advertising or use personal information for targeted advertising.
3. AI processing and source retrieval
Memberry sends relevant source content, prompts, conversation history, and selected study context through Lovable’s AI Gateway to providers including Google and OpenAI. OpenAI also processes source-text excerpts to produce embeddings used to find relevant material.
Your submitted material and generated content are stored so you can return to them. AI processing may also produce service, security, and diagnostic records held by our providers. Provider processing depends on the service, account settings, and applicable agreements. We do not promise zero retention or that all processing occurs on Memberry’s own servers.
Avoid uploading passwords, payment credentials, highly sensitive personal information, or confidential material you are not authorized to provide. AI-generated material may contain mistakes.
For YouTube imports, video identifiers and related requests are sent to YouTube to retrieve captions and metadata. A fallback transcript provider, Supadata, may receive a video identifier or URL when needed.
4. Service providers and other disclosures
Current service arrangements include:
| Provider or service | Purpose and information involved |
|---|---|
| Lovable hosting and Lovable Cloud, built on Supabase | Hosting, authentication, database, file storage, and operational processing; account information, learning material, activity, and technical records |
| Lovable AI Gateway, Google, and OpenAI | AI generation, tutor responses, and semantic retrieval; relevant prompts, source text, conversation context, outputs, and request metadata |
| YouTube / Google | Caption and metadata retrieval, thumbnails, and embedded video playback; video identifiers, requests, and browser information |
| Supadata | Fallback transcript retrieval; relevant video identifiers or URLs and technical request data |
| Lovable email service | Authentication messages, enabled reminders, and administrative alerts; recipient addresses and message contents |
| Google Fonts | Delivery of fonts; browser requests and technical information such as IP addresses |
Provider information:
Provider links supplement this policy; they do not replace our responsibility for Memberry’s processing.
If we introduce an optional integration, we will explain what it does and what information is shared before you enable it, including any permission or consent required by law. We do not give unrelated apps unrestricted access to your study data.
We may disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections and notices.
5. Browser storage and embedded content
Memberry uses browser storage for sign-in and preferences, including theme, sidebar state, and dismissed product updates.
We have not added advertising trackers or a separate analytics service to the application. Hosting providers may still process operational information.
YouTube thumbnails and embedded videos make requests to YouTube. Embeds, including those in the Motivation area, may use cookies or similar technologies under Google’s policies. External fonts also involve requests to Google.
6. Retention
We generally retain account information and study material while your account remains open and the information is needed to provide the service, unless you delete it or request deletion.
Support messages, feedback, administrative email records, and security records may be kept as reasonably necessary to resolve requests, operate securely, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Deleting material from the live application does not necessarily erase provider logs, emails already delivered, or backup copies immediately. Those records are subject to the applicable retention arrangements.
Memberry does not currently delete an account automatically because it has been inactive.
7. Deletion and your choices
You can delete individual sources in the app and delete your account from Settings. You may also email privacy@memberry.co.
Deleting a source removes its study material, including its quiz questions, flashcards, workbook, review history, search index, and source-specific chats. Affirmations previously generated from that source remain until you delete them or delete your account.
Deleting your account removes your sign-in account, uploaded files, and the learning records tied to your account, including source text, study materials, review history, search index, chats, affirmations, and Motivation Vault items.
Backups, provider logs, previously delivered email, support correspondence, and records retained for legal or security reasons may remain as described above. Deletion requests should identify the account email, but never include your password.
You can turn reminders off in Settings or contact support to stop them. Necessary account, security, and privacy communications may still be sent.
8. Privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, or restrictions on certain processing, or object to certain uses. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also have the right to appeal a decision or complain to a privacy regulator.
Contact privacy@memberry.co. We may verify your identity and will respond as applicable law requires. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider through the same address.
9. Eligibility and children
During initial early access, Memberry is offered only to adults aged 18 or older located in the United States. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact privacy@memberry.co and we will delete it. This launch restriction does not limit obligations that applicable law imposes on us regarding information we hold.
10. International processing and security
Memberry is operated from the United States and uses providers that may process information in other countries. Do not assume your information stays in your country.
We use access controls and other safeguards intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee complete security.
11. Changes and contact
We may revise this policy as the service changes. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice of material changes where required.
